Suck balls, National League. To pre-empt the "Yeah, but he's always hurt" complaint, if he should happen to hurt himself this year that just increases the Cubs' leverage to lock him up long-term.
On a side note, when I read the terms of the deal I did the same happy dance I did when they traded Brendan Harris and assorted crap for Nomar and Murton. Hopefully this one turns out better.

I am also doing the happy dance. More for the fact that Murton and Gallagher are gone, than getting Harden.
I have nothing to say other than "Fuck you" :).
What a steal. What a freakin' steal. I'm guessing that Beane is either convinced that Gallagher is the real deal, or the Single-A catcher is a prototypical Moneyball guy.
Nice job. Enjoy winning the division. We'll be duking it out with the Brew Crew for the Wildcard.
