No Balls, One Strike

If everyone's favorite Howitzer-armed Cardinal Yadier Molina wants nieces and nephews, after this he'll have to hope Bengie comes through for him.

The Youtube link in the comments on the AA story is great, too.

Ow is right. How was this different than the rupture that Michael Barrett suffered?

It was to a Yankee, so it's funny.

Are you referring to Chris Snyder's fractured testicle? If memory serves me, Barrett's was [shudder] an intrascrotal hematoma rather than a fracture. I believe, and our resident doctor-guy can perhaps clarify, that a hematoma is internal bleeding whereas the "fracture" is actually a crack in the lining. You're right that both were caused by foul tips, though. Why don't more catchers wear the banana hammock-protectors?

HI EVERYBODY!

The leg bone's connected to the... knee bone. The knee bone's connected to the something... the something's connected to the... red thing. The red thing's connected to my... wrist watch!

Uh oh...

Nice to see that "Simpsons" references will never die.
