Rams, Lambs, Les Mouflons

Now, I know you guys couldn't care less about the Rams, nor should you. Nonetheless, I'm curious for your opinion as to whether or not the Rams should keep Haslett. On the surface, I think "no", but these two of these three articles/columns represent the other line of thinking which I think definitely has some merit:

This might just be a reaction to the Big Fat Football Bozo-types that are consistently on the TV and radio here in Chicago, but if I'm a fan of Les Mouflons (great reference, by the way) I can't boot him out fast enough, and it's not because of anything in particular he's done.

The scales are pretty severely tipped to the offenses in football now, and the passing game is driving that. Sure, you run to win, but you pass to set up the run now. The Lovie Smith mindset of "We get off the bus running" sounds great to the mid-40s fan who remembers the Golden Age of Tackling, but the problem with the power running game is that it doesn't win games. I see Haslett as an advocate of that mindset - though I'll grant that you've seen far more of his work than I have - and while it might not sit well with Rams fans, with regard to scheme I think you'd be better off hiring (and providing his type of personnel) Mike Martz, personality flaws aside.
