OK guys, so I know this is a long shot, but I thought I would throw it out there (long shot since most of my friends are cheap bastards).
Anybody interested in going in on Blackhawks season tickets with me? There is currently no wait list, and if you request them, you will get them. Part of the reason I ask, is that I am on the Cubs season ticket wait list, and I don't see myself coming off of that in the near future (I put myself on this list 10 years ago after I graduated high school, and I am now only #4,000 or so on the list as... so I am slowly getting there).
Obviously, we probably would not use every ticket. It is just a way for me to "guarantee" tickets for events that I'd like to go to. Plus, extra tickets are always good for friends or business clients. Unused tickets can always get uhhh, traded. Other than the hefty deposit of paying for 40 some odd home games as an initial investment, I don't think we will lose much, if any money in the end.
Thoughts?

I love the idea! Maybe we should look into partial packages when they become available too?
The only reason I wouldn't do this is the unpredictability of my work schedule. Like I said though, I like the idea in theory.
Wow. I didn't think I would get any positive responses.
You think YOUR schedule is unpredictable? What about mine?
Remember, if you can't use the tickets, you deal them. As long as the Hawks don't nose dive this season, you should recoup your money no problem.
